Friday Faves.

1. Panmure Island

We were out exploring this week and discovered Panmure Island. Holy gorgeous! Most Islanders are probably already familiar with Panmure but I thought I'd share for those of us from away. It's a great day trip from Charlottetown, and we'll definitely be going back. On the way, we stopped for lobster roll platters at the very adorable Gillis Drive-In. Fun times were had by all.

2. Dave's Lobster

Speaking of lobster rolls, one of the best we've had so far (and we've already had more than our fair share) was from fellow newbie Dave's Lobster in Charlottetown.

3. Bahamas at Big Red Music Festival

I can't quite remember when I first discovered the music of Afie Jurvaven (AKA Bahamas) but I know that I've watched this video of him and Kathleen Edwards covering "Snowbird" enough times to be considered a crazy/creepy fan lady. Needless to say, I was pretty stinkin' jazzed to learn that he's not only releasing a new album but that he's also playing the Big Red Music Festival in Charlottetown this year. If you're looking for me on July 12th, you'll know where to find me.

4. Birdmouse

We put out a call on Facebook last Sunday, looking for local woodworkers to collaborate with, which is how we hooked up with crafty husband & wife team Birdmouse. Stay tuned for more on our joint project.
